Ameera Shums
Ameera Shums is the main Notary Public and most likely the person who answers your call when you call our office. She is extremely client focused and deeply committed to the community. Ameera takes great pleasure being a Notary and part of a tradition of trust that is over 2000 years old.
Ameera was born in Mumbai, India and immigrated to Canada in 2005. She attended Simon Fraser University for her undergraduate degree concentrating in Finance, Marketing, and Operations Management. Becoming a Notary was always written in her stars, as she started as a Legal Assistant with a leading notary firm in 2011 for a number of years and began her journey to become a Notary in 2019. She brings her global experience with her to the office and is always looking to give back to the community.
She has extensive experience working at other Notary offices, banking, municipal government, court and criminal system, and entrepreneurship. She is always looking to learn and expand her knowledge base and loves being a Notary as it gives her the opportunity to meet people from all walks of life. If you don’t see Ameera in the office, she is most likely checking off places on her bucket list.

Our History
With offices located in Southern California, our California environmental lawyers are well-positioned to meet the diverse demands of global business clients. Our attorneys have substantial “Big Law” experience and have practiced environmental law at the highest levels throughout their careers. In 2015, Bick Law was established as a Women-Owned Business Enterprise and in 2016, Alan Bick joined the firm after retiring as a partner from Gibson Dunn with 26 years of environmental law experience.
